Located in rustic old town Roanoke, Babe's Chicken Dinner House is a North Texas institution.  Babe's main course menu offers only two choices: Fried Chicken & Chicken fried steak. (When you're the best in the business that's all you need :). Generous portions and all-you-can eat sides will satisfy even the biggest home cooked appetites.   Built inside an old hardware store, Babe's offers an atmosphere akin to a family reunion picnic. If you arrive right at supper time, be prepared to wait.   Tailgate parties are a common site and a sure sign of seasoned Babe's patrons.    

A Babe's Roanoke dinner includes a Chicken Fried Steak or Fried Chicken (Wing, thigh, drumstick and breast.) and all-you-can eat Mashed Potatoes, Green Salad, Cream Gravy, Cream Corn, Buttermilk Biscuits, butter, Honey, & Sorghum. (Babe's has an extended menu at it other locations which includes: Smoked Chicken, Fried Chicken Tenders, Fried Catfish, & Pot Roast.)

$9.49 ($ 10.27 w/tax) per person plus drink
$1 extra for catfish

Lunch: 11am to 2pm Tuesday through Friday
Dinner: 5pm to 9pm Tuesday through Friday
Saturday & Sunday: 11am to 9pm
